The airline’s hub is in Abu Dhabi.

Since it was founded by the legendary racing driver, Niki Lauda, the airline has grown steadily. At the end of 2011, Niki Lauda gave up his shares in the airline and since then has been a Non-Executive Director on the board of Air Berlin PLC. airberlin has a 49.9% stake in NIKI. NIKI Luftfahrt GmbH remains a legally independent company with its own management board. Since 20th March 2012 NIKI has been an affiliate member of the airline alliance oneworld®.

American Airlines is a US airline and founder member of oneworld. Its home base is in Dallas/Fort Worth. In terms of passenger numbers American Airlines is one of the biggest airlines in the world. The airline has hubs in Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago O’Hare, Los Angeles, Miami, and in both JFK and LaGuardia in New York, which enable it to serve national and international destinations.

British Airways is the biggest airline in the UK and is one of the founder members of the oneworld Alliance. British Airways is one of only a few airlines to operate flights to destinations in six continents. In addition to winning the title of the "World's Leading Airline" at the World Travel Awards, British Airways was also voted "Europe's Leading First Class Airline" and won the award for "Europe's Leading Airline Website".
Cathay Pacific

This airline from Hong Kong is also a founder member of the oneworld Alliance. Cathay Pacific has a route network of more than 110 destinations across Asia, the Pacific, North America, Africa and Europe. Cathay Pacific has also won a number of Skytrax awards for the quality of its service.

Finnair is the biggest airline in Finland and has its head office in Helsinki. The airline’s home base and hub is at Helsinki-Vantaa. airberlin has been collaborating with Finnair since 2010. The partnership gives access to connections to New Delhi and Singapore via Helsinki.

Iberia, which is the largest airline in Spain, became a member of the oneworld Alliance in 1999. Iberia is the leading airline for flights between Europe and Latin America and, from its hub in Madrid, serves more than 100 destinations in over 40 countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and North and South America.

LAN

LAN is a Chilean airline based at Santiago de Chile Airport. LAN, which is one of the biggest and most prominent airlines in Latin America, became a member of oneworld in the year 2000. The Latin American airline has received numerous awards for its high quality service and offers a dense route network in South America, as well as connections to North America, Europe and the Pacific region.

Qantas is the biggest airline in Australia and a founder member of the oneworld Alliance. As one of the leading long-haul carriers in the world, Qantas and its subsidiaries operate the largest network in Australia. The most important hub outside Australia is Singapore Airport, which provides access to direct connections to Frankfurt or London from Australian cities, as well as connections to other destinations in Europe and Asia through codeshare flights.
Royal Jordanian

Royal Jordanian is the national airline of the Kingdom of Jordan. It has been flying as part of the oneworld Alliance since 2007 and has one of the most extensive route networks in the Middle East. Alongside destinations such as Dubai and Aden, the airline mainly serves European destinations such as Paris and Moscow and destinations in Africa, Asia and North America.
S7 Airlines

S7 Airlines is a Russian airline, which became a member of the oneworld Alliance in 2010. It has hubs at its home base at Moscow’s Domodedowo Airport, as well as at the airports of Novosibirsk-Tolmatschowo and Irkutsk, through which it offers access to the most extensive route network in Russia. S7 Airlines also has numerous connections to Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the South Pacific, with more than 90 destinations in over 20 countries.

Malaysia Airlines (MH) is one of the world's leading 5-star airlines and has been a member of oneworld since 2013. Malaysia Airlines receives awards for excellent service on a regular basis and has a route network offering flights to around 60 destinations.

Bangkok Airways

Bangkok Airways is a private Thai airline with its head office and hub in Bangkok at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Bangkok Airways offers connections to several destinations in Thailand and also operates flights to other destinations in Asia. Since 2009 airberlin has been collaborating with the Thai airline on routes from Bangkok to Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Phnom Penh/Cambodia.
Hainan Airlines

Head office: Haikou, China
The Chinese airline, Hainan Airlines, has its head office in Haikou, the capital of Hainan province. From its main hub airports in Haikou and Peking, Hainan Airlines operates flights to national and international destinations. Since 2009 airberlin has been marketing flights between Berlin and Peking in cooperation with Hainan. Other major international destinations include Brussels, Budapest, Zurich and Istanbul.
Meridiana Fly
Year founded: 1963
Head office: Olbia, Italy
Meridiana Fly, which is based in Olbia in Sardinia, is Italy’s third largest airline. Alongside Olbia, the airline has regional hubs in Florence and Verona. airberlin has been collaborating with Meridiana Fly since 2011. Under the agreement, it is possible to fly from Italy to selected destinations in Germany with airberlin.
Pegasus Airlines

Head office: Istanbul, Turkey
Pegasus Airlines is a Turkish airline with its head office in Istanbul. Istanbul Airport is the hub for more than 85 destinations. Since September 2011, airberlin’s route network has been extended through the codeshare agreement with Pegasus Airlines. This makes it possible to fly to Istanbul and gives access to connections to Izmir and Ankara.

AirBaltic is a Latvian airline with its head office in Riga. AirBaltic operates from all three Baltic capitals- Riga (Latvia), Tallinn (Estonia) and Vilnius (Lithuania). Since September 2012, airberlin´s route network has extended to the Baltic states through the codeshare agreement with airBaltic.
Air Seychelles
Year founded: 1978
Head office: Victoria, Seychelles
Air Seychelles was founded in 1978 as the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles and began operating long-haul service in 1983. The airline currently offers international flights to Abu Dhabi, Johannesburg and Mauritius operated by its new A330-200. Air Seychelles offers more than 160 domestic scheduled flights per week throughout the archipelago as well as domestic charter flights. The airline has a strategic partnership with Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, which has a 40 percent stake in the airline.
