Airport Dubai (DXB)
Dubai International Airport is 5 km south-east of the city. The road to the airport runs south-east from the city centre of Dubai along the eastern bank of the Al-Khor river. When coming from the south of Dubai, take the Al-Garhoud bridge across the Al-Khor and travel north, then turn right onto the access road to the airport.

The red line of the fully automated Dubai Metro runs between terminal 1 and Dubai city centre.
Airport buses leave for the city centre every 10 minutes. Airport shuttle buses travel to many of the hotels.
Taxis can be found round the clock in front of the arrivals hall. The pink taxis carry women only. The journey to the city centre takes approx. 10 minutes and the fare has to be paid in advance.
Limousines can also be booked in the arrivals hall.
There are two car parks, one short-stay and one long-stay.
An airport information desk is located in the arrivals hall of terminal 1 and is staffed round the clock.

Terminal 1 offers two business centres.
The "Global Link" is located on the departures level near gate 16 and is available to all passengers. It has an internet café, ISDN connections and a 24-hour secretarial service.
The "Connect", which is located in the Dubai International Hotel (also in Terminal 1), offers five meeting rooms and a conference room as well as extensive secretarial and office services. These facilities must be booked in advance by telephoning 00971 (4) 206 4278.
Banks, cash machines and currency exchange machines can be found in all three terminals. Bureaux de change, which are open round the clock, can also be found on the departures level of terminal 1.
The world-famous Dubai Duty Free is a shoppers’ paradise extending over several thousand square metres of terminals 1 and 3. The selection of high-quality products is particularly extensive. The goods on offer include jewellery, electronics, cosmetics, alcohol, luxury items, designer clothing, sports equipment, children’s wear, toys, books and much more besides.
Numerous restaurants and cafés can also be found in the departures area of terminal 1.
Airport staff offer assistance for the disabled. Information desks specifically for disabled passengers can be found in rows A and B on the departures level of terminal 1. Electric buggies to transfer disabled passengers as well as waiting rooms for travellers with a disability are also available there.
