The “Amerigo Vespucci” Florence Airport is located 4 km northwest of downtown Florence. From the city centre, follow Viale Guidoni in the direction of the A1 motorway. The airport is located at the exit “Firenze Nord / Firenze Mare”.

BY RAIL/BY BUS
Buses run several times an hour between the airport and the Florence city centre. The last stop for these buses is Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station railway station. From there, there are excellent connections with other regions of Italy.
BY TAXI
The taxi ranks are located in front of the Arrivals hall. The official taxis are all equipped with meters. A trip to Florence takes about 15 minutes and costs around 13-15 EUR.
PARKING
Short-term Parking:
The car parks for the short-term parking are directly across from the terminal. The first 20 minutes are free of charge. Afterwards, one pays 2 EUR for the first hour, 3 EUR for every additional hour or 25 EUR/day.
Long-term Parking:
The area with the long-term parking spaces is behind the short-term parking spaces. The following charges apply there:
1 EUR/hour (only on the first day), 12 EUR/day during week 1, 10 EUR/day as of week 2, 8 EUR/day as of week 3

The airport has a conference room for 10 persons max. A booking should be made at least 10 days in advance by email at advertising@aeroporto.firenze.it .
BANK
A “Banca Toscana” counter can be found in the Departures hall. Other currency exchange counters and ABMs are also available at the airport.
SHOPPING
There is an adequate range of retail shops, both in the area that is accessible to every visitor as well as in the area reserved solely for the passengers. In addition, there are individual cafes, bars and a self-service restaurant.
SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
The entire airport is easily accessible to handicapped persons. There are identified handicapped parking spaces, wheelchair ramps as well as handicapped accessible elevators, washrooms and telephones. In addition, there is a special counter outside the Departures hall, where passengers can request assistance.
