Airport Miami (MIA)
The airport is 14 kilometres north-west of Miami. From the city centre take Interstate 95 North. Take the NW 42 Avenue exit (LeJeune Road). The road to the airport is clearly marked.
If you are approaching the airport from South Beach, drive west along the Macarthur Causeway to 836 West. Exit: LeJeune Road North.

BY RAIL/BY BUS
The Miami Airport Tri-Rail Station is east of the airport on the other side of LeJeune Road (42 Avenue) in NW 21 Street. Shuttle buses link the airport station with airport itself, and this can be used free of charge on presentation of a Tri-Rail ticket. Trains to Broward and Palm Beach run hourly between 04:00 h and 21:00 h.
The city buses (Metro-Bus) run from the bus station on the ground floor of hall E to various destinations in Miami. Metro-Bus 7 goes to the city centre, the 37 goes to Hialeah and Miami South, and the 42 goes to Golden Glades, Opa Locka and Coconut Grove. A single fare costs $ 1.50.
There is also a special bus (Keys Shuttle) that runs to the Florida Keys.
There is a taxi rank in front of the arrivals hall. The fare is $ 30–35 to South Beach and $ 46 to North Miami Beach.
The short-stay car park is opposite the south terminal, between zones H and J. Access is via the arrivals level. Parking charges: $ 2.50/30 minutes; $ 30/day.
There are two multi-storey long-stay car parks, both with direct access to the terminal: Dolphin Garage (North Terminal) and Flamingo Garage (South Terminal). Parking charges: $ 4/hour; $ 15/day.
The Tourist Information Center is located on level 2 of hall E and is open every day from 5:00-22:00 h.

The Miami International Airport Hotel, which is in hall E, level 7, offers conference rooms for up to 12 persons, with each of the rooms being equipped with audiovisual facilities; the hotel also has a conference room for 200 persons.

Banks, bureaux de change and ATMs (cash machines) are available on level 2. In hall B (level 4) there is a complete Bank of America banking service and a post office.
The airport has a comprehensive and varied range of shops and catering facilities. Most of these can be found in zones E and F. The "Top of the Port" restaurant is located on the top floor of the Miami International Airport Hotel and has a beautiful view of the airport and aircraft as they take off and land.
The airport is easily accessible to disabled passengers. Most of the toilets and elevators are wheelchair-accessible and text telephones can be found at various locations in the terminal. Parking spaces for the disabled can be found on level 3 of the multi-storey car parks.
