Salzburg Airport is 4 km west of the city centre and has its own motorway link to the A1 West Motorway (towards Vienna/Budapest, connecting to the A8 to Munich), as well as the A10 Tauern Motorway (towards Carinthia-Villach, Italy). The B1 Innsbruck Highway goes from Salzburg to the airport.

Bus:
Public transport buses operate regularly between Salzburg Airport and Salzburg’s main railway station, as well as other destinations in the state of Salzburg (Salzburger Land). The no. 2 O bus runs every 10 minutes throughout the day, and every 20 minutes at other times, between the airport and the main railway station in Salzburg. The journey takes approx. 20 minutes. Fare: € 1.80 for a single ticket. Tickets can be purchased from ticket machines or from the bus driver.
The no. 260 bus goes to Bad Reichenhall, Lofer, St. Martin, Maishofen and Zell am See. The no. 180 bus also goes to Bad Reichenhall.
BY TAXI
There is a taxi rank in front of the arrivals hall. The journey to Salzburg city centre takes approx. 15 minutes and costs about € 12.
PARKINGP1 and P2 are short-stay car parks for a maximum stay of 24 hours. Parking charges: € 1.60/hour, € 17.50/day.
Long-stay parking facilities are available in the multi-storey car park and in car parks P3, P5, P7. Parking charges for the multi-storey car park: € 1.30/hour; € 13.30/day; € 75.70/week. Parking charges for P3, P5, P7: € 1.30/hour; € 10.50/day; € 58.50/week.

Restaurants are located on the first floor of terminal 1. In the shopping mall on the ground floor between the departures and arrivals halls you will find a range of shops selling gifts, jewellery, fashion items and clothing, newspapers, tobacco goods, snacks and many other items.
In the departures area the Travel Value & Duty Free Shop, as well as an additional shop selling souvenirs and snacks, offer a wide range of international brands and regional products.
SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
The airport has wheelchair ramps and a lift, as well as toilet facilities and telephones for the disabled. Disabled parking spaces can be found in the multi-storey car park and in the P1 short-stay car park, parallel to the covered walkway.
