Who can get involved with the airberlin Affiliate Program?
airberlin is particularly interested in partners who offer travel-related content on their websites. For all other sites it is important that visitors to the site will also find editorial content - not just innumerable banners.
Minimum requirements
- Correct information
- Disclosure of credits
- Separate top-level domain (.de, .com, .biz - no sub-domains!)
- At least 500 visitors per day
- Max. 6 advertisements per html/php/flash page
- Max. 5 other advertisements per page (not per domain) apart from airberlin

- Travel agents
- Price comparison sites
- Travel forums
- Language schools
- Travel guide sites
- Professional travel report sites
Examples of other websites:
- Online shops
- Web directories
- Industry directories
- Region and town portals
- Editorial search engines
- Websites focussing on news, business & finance or sport
- Services in holiday regions, such as real estate agents on Mallorca
- Restaurant directories
The following websites will be excluded or not accepted
- Those that only consists of advertising banners and do not offer any content
- Those which have purely personal content, for example photo galleries, diaries, etc.
- Those which have illegal, sexual or violent content
- Those which can only be accessed via sub-domains and do not have a top-level domain of their own
- Those which pass on part of their commission to their end customers such as (online) bonus programs, paid-mail systems: Payment to recipients of advertising mails, paid-4-action system; Forced clicks, for example for sending SMS
- Those who pass on part of their commission as donations
- Those that use airberlin as part of a banner exchange
- Those which are only designed to take bookings of the website operator
If the partner advertising area is redesigned, airberlin reserves the right to terminate an existing partnership.
