ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

BY CAR
Bremen airport is approx. 3.5 km south of the city centre. To get to the airport take the A 1 motorway (travelling from Hamburg, Hanover, Osnabrück), then leave the motorway at the exit for Arsten. If travelling from Bremerhaven, take the A 27 motorway, then the B 6 and the A 281 motorway.

BY RAIL/BY BUS
Tram:
The no. 6 tram runs directly from the airport to the central railway station and the central bus station (ZOB) in Bremen. At peak periods the trams run every 10 minutes. The journey between the airport and the central railway station/ZOB takes approx. 17 minutes.

Bus:
The Publicexpress long-distance bus service operates four times a day from Bremen airport to Groningen, stopping at Oldenburg. A single ticket bought in advance costs € 19.

BY TAXI
By taxi the journey from the airport to the central railway station in Bremen costs about € 10 and takes approx. 20 minutes.

PARKINGShort-stay car parks:
A limited number of short-stay parking spaces is available in front of the terminal. The charges are € 0.50/20 minutes.

Car parks P1 and P2:
Both modern multi-storey car parks are just a few metres from the terminal.

LEFT LUGGAGEThe left luggage lockers are located in the entrance area of car park 1. The charge is € 1-2 per day, depending on the size of the item of baggage left in the lockers.

CONFERENCE ROOMS
The Atlantic Hotel Airport Bremen is immediately opposite the airport’s departures hall and has seven conference rooms for up to 200 persons. Tel.: 49 (0)421-557 10

BANK
Cash machines (ATMs) are available in the terminal. A branch of Sparkasse Bremen is located on the upper floor. This bank is open from 5:00-23:00 h.

SHOPPING
Shops selling items such as travel goods, souvenirs and newspapers are located on the ground floor. A Travel-Value Shop can be found on the upper floor of terminals 1 and 3.
There are also restaurants, cafés and bars in the terminal’s departures area.

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
The airport has lifts, disabled toilets, wheelchair-accessible public telephones, and a guidance system for the blind between the car park, tram stop and the terminal. The parking spaces for the disabled are located on level 3 of the multi-storey car park P1.
