The airport is 9 kilometres north-east of the city centre of Dresden. To get to the airport by car, take the A4/A13 motorways and turn off at the exit signposted "Dresden Flughafen", or take the B97.

The Line 2 S-Bahn (suburban train) station is underneath the terminal. The journey to Neustadt station takes approx. 13 minutes, and approx. 23 minutes to the central railway station.
The no. 77 bus runs from Dresden Terminal airport to Infineon-Werk. You will need to change at the "Infineon-Nord" stop (a journey time of 7 minutes) and get on the no. 7 tram (direction Gorbitz). This tram will take you to the Dresden city centre and all the major railway stations.
Taxi ranks can be found right outside the terminals.
A glass bridge (skywalk) for pedestrians connects the modern multi-storey car park with the terminal. There is also a short-stay car park near the terminal entrance, and there are three long-stay car parks.

Cash machines are located in the arrivals hall next to the airport information desk.
A large selection of shops and catering facilities, including the Panorama restaurant, can be found in the terminal. Duty-free goods are available in the Travel-Value-Shop.
Dresden Terminal airport is designed to provide good facilities for the disabled. The levels – including the departures level – are connected by lifts. The passenger building also has toilet facilities and telephones that are suitable for the disabled.
Short-stay parking bays for the disabled can be found immediately in front of the terminal. There is also free parking in the multi-storey car park for anyone with a valid disability badge.
