BY CAR
The airport lies 8 km to the south-west of the city centre, in the region of Andalusia, offering excellent transport links with the rest of the coastline. It is very close to the MA-22 regional highway, known as the Autovía del Mediterráneo (the old N340). This conveniently leads to the A7, E-15 and AP-7 (Autopista del Sol) motorways, giving easy access to the popular resorts of Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Torremolinos. Head towards the west to reach Marbella, Puerto Banus and Granada, and towards the east to reach Nerja and Malaga.

BY RAIL
There is a train station at Malaga Airport, served by the C1 train heading for Malaga or Fuengirola. Trains during the day run at 30-minute intervals from the city centre, taking approximately 15 minutes.
BY BUS
The bus stops are just outside the main arrivals hall on the right-hand side. Two bus lines serve the airport, the Airport Express bus, connecting the airport to Malaga city centre in approximately 20 minutes, and a shuttle bus service to Marbella (journey time: around 45 minutes). Malaga City Bus line 19 departs every 20-40 minutes, depending on the time of day, and costs € 1.10, one-way. It stops at a number of stations around Malaga, including the main bus station and RENFE railway station.
Hours of service: 07.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m.
Bus line 310 will take you to Marbella bus station in about 45 minutes. It costs € 4.30 for a one-way ticket. Buses leave approximately every 45 minutes to an hour.

The airport has a good selection of shops and outlets. They offer everything from accessories to newspapers and are to find within the safety area on the departures level of Terminal 3.
The shops are usually open from 08.00 a.m. to 08.00 p.m.
