The regional station for urban and local trains is on level 1 in Terminal 1, while the main line stations is in the AIRail Terminal next to Terminal 1 on level 1. The airport’s free shuttle bus and the Sky Line link terminal 1 and terminal 2.
Passengers for airberlin flights who arrive by train can use the check-in in the AIRail terminal, desks 18-20. This service is possible daily from 07:00 to 21:00 h until 60 minutes before each departure. More information »
The S8 and S9 urban trains (S-Bahn) run every 15 minutes to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (Central Train Station) from 4:29–0:44 h. The journey takes about 11 minutes.
Buses for Terminal 1 stop at the bus station in front of the Arrivals Halls and for Terminal 2 they stop at level 2 in front of the halls for Arrivals and Departures. Many hotels offer a courtesy (free) shuttle service to and from the airport.
Plenty of taxis are available round the clock outside both terminals. The trip from/to Frankfurt city centre costs approx. 20 € and the journey time is approx. 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the traffic.

The parking charges are 1.50 €/30 minutes, 3.60 €/hour, 23.50 €/day and 117.50 €/week. There is no parking charge for days 6 to 14, so the charges for 2 weeks are 117.50 €.
There are two information desks in Terminal 1, zone B (one each on the Departures and Arrivals Level).
In Terminal 2 you will find the information desk between zones D and E near the Arrivals Area.

Left luggage offices are located in Terminal 1, zone B, Level 1 (24 h open) and in zone B-C, Level 2 (Mon-Sun 6:00-22:00 h) as well as in Terminal 2, zone D, Level 2 (Mon-Sun 6:00-22:00 h). Charges: up to 30 kg 3.60 €/day.
Lockers are located in Transit Area B in Terminal 1 as well as in Transit Areas D and E in Terminal 2.

Almost all major German banks have several branches at the airport (Deutsche Bank, Dresdner Bank, Commerzbank, SEB Bank, Sparkasse, Reisebank). Both terminals also have numerous cash machines (ATMs).
In the shopping area of Frankfurt Airport you can find the usaul airport shops (books, delicatessen, flowers etc.) as well as lots of design shops. Restaurants, cafés and bars are also provided.
Frankfurt airport has good disabled access and facilities. Free set-down and pick-up points are available right in front of the terminals. Parking spaces for the disabled can be found in the P31 multi-storey car park near terminal 1 and in the underground car park for terminal 2. Toilet facilities for the disabled are available.
