“Help & Fly” on 22nd November 2014 in Dusseldorf
Round trip, stage show and party for a good cause
The fundraising event “Help & Fly” will take place for the 16th time on 22nd November. On board the airberlin Airbus 330-200, a fun-packed programme awaits guests. Entertainer Käthe Köstlich will support the event, as in previous years. Guests will also be able to enjoy the flight in Business Class for the first time. The special feature of this flight: all the entertainers and crew provide their services for free on the day. All the money raised is donated to the AIDS-Hilfe Dusseldorf e.V. organisation.
On the date of the event
The roughly 90-minute “Help & Fly” round trip takes off from Dusseldorf Airport at 2.30 p.m. on 22nd November 2014. The airberlin Airbus 330-200 flies a shape recreating the AIDS ribbon before landing again in Dusseldorf. Relax and recline on board, whilst enjoying the excellent service provided by our cheerful and well-known cabin crew members. The tone is of course set by Käthe Köstlich!
Once the “Help & Fly” round trip flight has landed, from around 4 p.m. the fun continues at a ceremony to hand over the cheque with accompanying stage show and tombola in the Station Airport, the Special Event Location run by Dusseldorf Congress Sport & Event GmbH in Dusseldorf Airport railway station. First prize in the tombola is a one-week holiday for two people to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Thanks to the kind sponsorship of MEIER’S WELTREISEN, the winners will stay in the five-star Hotel Paradisus la Perla with all-inclusive service.
Food and drink is also provided. The brewery “Im Füchschen” supports “Help & Fly” with a hearty hot buffet and delicious Füchschen Altbier, and patisserie Heinemann provides a sweet treat. Saitta Locanda del Conte GmbH will greet guests at the gate before take-off with a glass of Prosecco.
Help & Fly – a round trip for a good cause
All the money raised by Help & Fly will be donated to AIDS-Hilfe Dusseldorf e.V. Over the past few years, a total of around 640,000 euros has been raised for this good cause. Dusseldorf is one of the cities most affected by HIV and Aids in Germany. Donations from the airberlin special flight help where support is most needed and public funds are insufficient.
