Earn status and award miles when flying with airberlin and the topbonus partner airlines. You receive additional award miles from topbonus hotel and car hire partners, further partners and whenever you pay with the airberlin VISA Card or the airberlin ec/girocard.

Your award miles remain valid for 36 months, expiring at the end of the quarter in which they were collected. Status miles are valid for 12 consecutive months.

Please state your topbonus card number when making a booking with one of our partners, when booking a flight or when checking in, so that your miles can be credited to your account immediately.

Retroactive mileage credit

It's possible to register miles retroactively if they weren't credited to you, or if you forgot your card. Miles collected whilst flying can be credited retroactively for up to a year and miles collected with topbonus partners for up to six months, as long as you were already a topbonus member at the time that you used the service for which you are requesting mileage credit. Flights or services provided by partner companies and used before registering with the topbonus Program may be credited to the account retrospectively for a period of 3 months prior to the date of registration.
