You can now also upgrade to Gold! Until 31st December 2013, you can upgrade to topbonus Gold status after flying just 60 times with airberlin or NIKI within 12 months or collecting 50,000 status miles in the same period. It goes without saying that the same applies for renewing your topbonus Gold status.



Conditions

Only flights paid in full in the FlyClassic and FlyFlex fare categories and flights booked in airberlin Business Class are included in the calculation of the number of flights taken in order to qualify for an Upgrade. These flights must be booked with airberlin (AB) or NIKI (HG) flight numbers and be eligible for mileage credit.


In particular, the following flights cannot be used to qualify for a potential Upgrade or to maintain topbonus Gold status:

  • Flights booked in the  JustFly fare category
  • Award or free flights
  • Flights operated and sold by airline partners
  • Flights operated by airberlin or NIKI  but sold by an airline partner through a codeshare agreement
  • Flights booked in connection with other promotional benefits, e.g. city tour pass, Europe Pass, Semester ticket, etc.
