Are you a sports enthusiast or do you take your sports equipment with you on business trips to stay fit and help you unwind? If so, you will certainly appreciate being able to take additional equipment with you without having to pay anything extra. Holders of a topbonus Silver, Gold, Platinum or Service Card are entitled to take one item of sports baggage or equipment » up to 32 kg free of charge (e.g., bicycle or skis).

Conditions

  • The benefit of free transport of one item of sporting equipment weighing a maximum of 32 kg can only be granted with prior registration. If you do not register, the general rates for excess baggage apply »
  • Only applies to bookings made on flights operated by airberlinn or NIKI  in  FlyClassic and FlyFlex and on flights booked in Business Class. It is not possible to check in sports baggage on flights booked in the JustFly fare category.
  • On flights which are operated by airberlin and NIKI, but which are booked through a codeshare agreement with an airline partner under its own flight number, the benefits are only available to a limited extent.
