Berlin Tegel airport is approx. 8 km north-west of the centre of Berlin. Take the A 111 urban motorway and leave at the exit for Airport Tegel.

BY RAIL/BY BUS
The TXL JetExpressBus runs every 10 minutes from 5:00–23:00 h from the airport via U-station Turmstrasse, Hauptbahnhof and S-station Unter den Linden to Alexanderplatz (the journey takes approx. 40 minutes).
The X9 express bus runs every 10 minutes from 5:00–23:00 h via Jakob-Kaiser-Platz to Zoologischer Garten railway station (the journey takes approx. 20 minutes).
The no. 128 bus runs every 10-20 minutes from 5:00–23:52 h for Osloer Strasse U-station.
Taxis are available in the inner ring of terminal A and in front of the exits of Terminal C and D. The fare to Berlin city centre is approx. 25 EUR and the journey takes 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Short-stay car park PK:
Short-stay parking spaces can be found in the inner ring of terminal A.
Parking charges: 2.50 EUR/15 minutes
Multi-storey car parks P1/P2:
Car park P1 is situated in terminal A; P2 is situated in front of terminal D.
Parking charges: 4 EUR for 1 hour, 35 EUR/day
Long-stay car park P5:
Long-stay parking spaces can be found in front of terminal C.
Parking charges: 4 EUR/hour, 32 EUR/day, 87 EUR/week (2. week 61 EUR, 3. week 51 EUR)
Information desks are in the Main Hall of terminal A under the main information board and in the entrance area of the terminals C and D.

Terminal A: Opening 90 minutes before each departure, except long-haul flights.
Terminal C: Opening 240 minutes before each departure, except long-haul flights.
Check-in for flights to US and for long-haul flights is possible 3 hours before departure and at late-night check-in.
From 18:00-20:00 h for all flights on the following day.

The left luggage office is located in the ground floor of terminal A. It is open every day from 5:00–22:30 h. The charges are 5 EUR for one normal item of left luggage per calendar day.

Sports equipment, strollers, bicycles, dog crates: 12 EUR per calendar day.
LOST PROPERTY OFFICE
The lost & found office is located in the ground floor of terminal A.

A conference centre is located on the third floor of terminal A. Various rooms for up to 24 persons are available.

Cash machines (ATMs) can be found in the inner ring of terminal A. A bank with a bureau de change is located in the basement terminal A, and is open Mon-Fri from 7:00-21:00 h, as well as Sat-Su from 08:00-20:00.
The airport has several bars and restaurants, as well as a range of shops, including a travel agency, bakery, flower shop, newsagents and gift shop.
A post office is located in the basement of terminal A.
Parking spaces for the disabled are located on short-stay car park PK, in front of terminal A and on car park P2, as well as on the car parl P5. The facilities provided by the airport for disabled passengers include wheelchair ramps, wheelchair-accessible toilets and telephones. Wheelchairs can be hired.
