The Chinese airline, Hainan Airlines, has its head office in Haikou, the capital of Hainan province. From its main hub airports in Haikou and Peking, Hainan Airlines operates flights to national and international destinations. Since 2009 airberlin has been marketing flights between Berlin and Peking in cooperation with Hainan. Other major international destinations include Brussels, Budapest, Zurich and Istanbul.

Meridiana Fly, which is based in Olbia in Sardinia, is Italy’s third largest airline. Alongside Olbia, the airline has regional hubs in Florence and Verona. airberlin has been collaborating with Meridiana Fly since 2011. Pegasus Airlines is a Turkish airline with its head office in Istanbul. Istanbul Airport is the hub for more than 85 destinations.
