About eurucamp week:

eurucamp is where Ruby conference meets camp. Running from 2011 eurucamp has become the yearly unique event for Ruby developers and enthusiasts in Berlin. The formula guiding the event is: "eurucamp = community learning fun". eurucamp aims to represent the whole community keeping economic barriers to attending low. At the same time workshops for beginners are offered for free in conjunction with Rails Girls Berlin. eurucamp is also meant to be a place for “taking holidays together” before going back to work. Child care for developers coming with their families will be offered and we will even teach kids the basics of code! In the same week JRubyConf EU will be held in central Berlin. It is the official conference for JRuby – the speedy Ruby implementation that runs on the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). After a successful first outing in Europe in 2012, this year‘s JRubyConf EU returns bigger and better. Expanding to two days, JRubyConf EU will bring experts from both the Java and Ruby worlds to Berlin.
