Web check-in offers the following benefits:
1. Open booking
Simply enter the surname and booking number, and all passengers will then appear for this booking.
Alternatively, you can also access web check-in by entering your surname, ticket number and departure airport.
2. Select passengers
If you do not wish to check-in all the passengers, you can remove the appropriate checks. If you did not quote your frequent flyer number when you booked your flight you can do so here so that you can collect miles.
3. Select route
You will be shown all future flights (including the individual legs for connecting flights) for the booking. A tick marks the flights that are ready for check-in (activated); this can be deactivated on request.
NB: check-in is only possible in chronological order.
4. Select seat
If you have not reserved a seat in advance, the system will automatically allocate you a seat.
Depending on the fare and route, you can change this free of charge, or pay to reserve a seat up to 4.5 hours before departure and thus change your seat (subject to availability).
If several people are travelling, first click the relevant name in the list and then the desired seat.
5. Depending on destination: Enter identity details
To enter certain countries, you are required to provide your passport details. Details of any necessary additional documents (e. g. ESTA, visa) may also be required.
6. Select type of boarding pass
You can choose between a boarding pass in PDF format for printing or a mobile boarding pass. Another option is to collect your boarding pass at the airport.
The boarding pass(es) available for your flight will be displayed depending on the legal regulations governing your point of departure and destination.
